- Circular Object to Trace - I used the circular top of a small basket, but you can use a bowl or any other circular object. Or you can draw a circle free-hand too.
- Disappearing Ink Fabric Marker - This helps your marks not be visible on the finished flower.
- Scissors and Hot Glue Gun
How to Make Felt Rose Flowers
Step 1. Trace a circle onto the felt with a disappearing ink marker.
Cut out the circle.
Step 2. Cut the felt circle into a wavy spiral shape, from the outside into the center.
Step 3. Beginning with the center of the spiral, roll the felt into a rosette shape, hot gluing to secure it as you go.
Step 4. Add more glue, and continue to roll the felt spiral all the way up into a rose shape.
Secure the end of the spiral to the underside of the rose.
Step 5. To add a mum center to your felt rose, first use the mini felt mum tutorial to make a small mum flower.
Step 6. Begin gluing the center of the felt spiral to the bottom of the small mum.
Step 7. Glue the spiral of felt around the outside of the rose, rolling it up as you go.
Step 8. Glue the end of the felt spiral to the bottom when you're done rolling, and the felt rose with a mum center is finished!
