How to Make Felt Ball Ornaments for the Christmas Tree
Step 1. Gather Supplies
Supplies Needed:
- Felt Balls
- Eye Screw Loops
- Superglue
- Twine
- Scissors
Step 2. Screw an eye loop screw into a felt ball.
Since the felt balls are squishy, you have to push hard and screw/twist the loop in as you push.
Keep twisting until the eye screw goes as far into the felt ball as possible.
Step 3. Add a small dab of superglue where the screw goes into the felt ball.
This will help prevent the eye screw from coming out of the felt ball.
Step 4. Repeat for as many ornaments as you want to make
Step 5. Cut twine into hanging strings.
Step 6. Thread a piece of twine through the eye screw, and tie a knot near the top.
This is your hanging string to hang the ornament on a tree!
Repeat for all of the felt balls.
The felt ornaments are finished!
They are simple yet gorgeous.
These ornaments made with felt balls and eye screws are shockingly easy and fun to make. You can whip up a dozen in just a few minutes.
I think it would look absolutely beautiful to decorate an entire tree this way - can you imagine them with white Christmas lights behind them?? (Someone please do this and send me a picture!)
