Jewelry making is a great craft hobby, and the huge sections of supplies at the craft stores are proof of how popular it is.

Today, we are taking a bit of an unconventional approach - we are going to use a tiny glass bottle with a cork stopper to make a one-of-a-kind keepsake necklace.

You can customize your mini glass bottle necklace with anything from tiny treasures from your latest vacation to a lock of your baby's hair or a written message from someone special. The options are endless!

Here's how to make your very own glass bottle jewelry!

Insert shark teeth or any other treasures that are small enough to fit inside.

You can add dried flower petals, tiny agates, even a lock of hair, or a tiny piece of rolled paper with a message written on it. (Message in a bottle!)

Step 3. Insert the cork back into the top of the glass bottle.

To help secure the cork, you can put a little glue (try super glue or E6000 glue) around the base of the cork to help it adhere to the glass.

Pro Tip: You can use these tips to get super glue off your hands.
