How to Make a DIY Ornament with Old Matchbox Car and Bottle Brush Tree
Step 1. Gather Supplies
- Matchbox Car
- Bottle Brush Tree
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue
Step 2. Cut a piece of twine and tie it into a loop.
This will be the ornament’s hanging string.
Step 3. Hot glue the twine loop to the top of the matchbox car.
Step 4. Add more hot glue to the top of the car and place the bottle brush tree on the glue.
Hold until it dries.
Once the glue is dry, your ornament is finished!
The ornament is charming and classic, perfect for a rustic chic Christmas tree.
You can use any type of toy car to make this ornament.
I like this metal car because it is vintage and distressed, and I love the red color.
Kids could make ornaments like these with any type of plastic matchbox car or truck too – the sky is the limit!
