How to Make a Pearl Pinecone Christmas Tree
Learn how to make a DIY pearl pinecone Christmas tree in this easy step-by-step craft tutorial with photos.
- Pinecones
- Faux Pearls
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue
Put a dab of hot glue onto the end of one of the flat pinecone sections (also called "scales".)
Place a pearl into the glue and hold it in place until the glue dries.
Repeat the process, gluing pearls around the edges of the pinecone.Leave some of the sections empty so it doesn't get too cluttered. Once you've glued pearls around the entire pinecone, your pearl pinecone tree is finished!
- Collect your own pinecones from outside (and clean them before using them for crafts) or buy them from craft stores, online retailers, or sellers on Etsy or eBay.
- You can also glue pompoms, beads, gems, metal bells, or other small objects to the pinecone as "ornaments" if you don't have faux pearls.
- As you are gluing the pearls onto the ends of the pinecone, leave some empty so it doesn't get too cluttered.
