Make paper flowers using the cardboard tubes inside toilet paper rolls and this DIY paper flower tutorial.Use hot glue to attach paper flowers to the top of small sticks.Hold firmly in place while the glue dries completely. Hot glue double-leaves onto sticks as "leaves."Determine where you want to attach the leaves.You can attach the petals either at the base of the flower like I did with the rosette pictured here, or lower on the stem like mini petal flower in step 1.Hold firmly in place until the glue dries. Hot glue the base of the stick into bottom of a mini clay pot.Determine where the stick needs to be glued into the base of the pot so that the flower stands upright.If your stick is straight, you can glue it in the center of the bottom of the pot.If your stick isn't straight (like the photo below), you might need to glue it off center in order for your flower to stand upright.Hot glue the stick to the base of the clay pot; let dry fully. You can leave the pots empty if you want, or fill them up with colorful felt balls, small rocks or other filler.You could even add real dirt to the pots for a fun twist.
- Use cardboard tubes from inside toilet paper rolls, paper towels, or inside rolls of wrapping paper to make the DIY paper flowers.
- Look for small containers to use as flower pots at thrift stores and garage sales. Cups, bowls, shot glasses, and tiny flower pots all work great.
- You can use many different things as filler for the pots. Consider small rocks, felt balls, marbles, beads, buttons, beans, or even dirt as options for filling up the flower pots!
