So far in the Planning Your Wedding series, we’ve touched on:
Part 1: Picking Your Wedding Date
Part3: Choosing Your Wedding Photographer
Part 4: Consider the Power of Videography
At this point in the process, you’ve booked your wedding venue, locked in your date, chosen a wedding photographer, and possibly booked a videographer.
There are still a lot of other vendors that book based on availability, so your work isn’t done yet.
The next vendors to research, compare and choose are:
DJ/Band
Florist
Baker
Decor/Rental Company
Hair stylist
Make up artist
These vendors have limits on how many couples they can work with on a given day, so it’s best to book them early in your planning process.
Lots of locations have wedding planning resources and blogs that showcase different vendors. Many venues have lists of preferred vendors which offer a great starting place as well.
I also have my personal favorite vendors to work with, so if you are looking to fill any of these vendor areas for your wedding, I’d be happy to give you some referrals.
Once you’ve booked the rest of the vendors that fill up quickly, you can take a deep breath because you are over halfway there with your planning!
Stay tuned for the next wedding planning tip: To First Look or Not To First Look, coming soon!
