In a town as small as Brainerd, there are bound to be connections between people everywhere. I first met Helene this past spring at my first Love Your Camera workshop. I had heard of her before though, because she’s a teacher in the same district that my mom’s a counselor in. Helene’s husband is also a teacher and my mom knows him too.
After Helene attended my workshop, she mentioned possibly having me take her family’s photos sometime this summer. A few weeks ago, we made plans for a session and were blessed with the perfect late August weather. Because Helene takes a lot of daily life photos of her kids in a natural setting, we decided to seek out a different location and chose the local railroad yard for their session. I couldn’t have been more happy with the way this session went and the way the photos turned out. I LOVE the casual color scheme of their outfits and the way they all look so good together without it looking overdone at all.
To the Danielson family – THANK YOU for spending the evening with me! You had me smiling long after the session was over and I was back home behind the computer. Enjoy! xx, Laura
