Whether they intend to or not, parents set the stage for how their children act, what they value, who they are and become.
My sister and I have been blessed with the most amazing model of marriage to replicate.
Today is my parent’s 32nd wedding anniversary. They consistently show my sister and I what unconditional love is, what partnership looks like, and what mutual respect can do for a relationship. They have set the bar high – showing us what a marriage can and should be like.
I feel so blessed to have witnessed their love and I know my sister feels the same way. We both hope to display the same love, respect and kindness in our marriages.
