I knew the minute I turned into Shawna and Joe’s driveway that I was going to love their session. Their driveway is long, and lined with pines – giving it a private and rustic allure. Their property is just stunning; I hardly wanted to leave at the end of it. Such a great place to raise a family.

These two are expecting their first baby, a boy, in a bit over a month. Their family will then grow from 4 to 5. Right now, it’s Shawna and Joe, plus Shawna’s dog and Joe’s dog which makes for a rowdy and hilarious bunch. I can only imagine how much fun it’ll be when they have a new little boy running around in them mix.

Shawna and Joe – thanks for exploring with me on a perfect August evening. Glad we didn’t have to encounter any snakes [Shawna – saw one on the highway driving today and thought of you!]. I’m so excited to meet your little guy in a short while.
