I’ve been thinking a lot about authenticity and vulnerability lately.
One of my goals last year was to post videos on my blog, but I never did. It is awkward to record yourself and then to have to watch yourself over and over again while you edit the videos.
But I LOVE watching videos on other people’s sites, and I really think you get a sense of what people are like when you listen/watch them talk instead of just reading the words they write.
So, I decided that I am going to give posting videos a more valiant effort.
Maybe I was inspired by the little girl with the Youtube channel on the White House Down movie Matt and I watched last night. [Have you seen it? It was a better movie than I thought it would be, because of that little girl!]
I had a coffee date with a friend of mine today that inspired me to make my first ever video blog [vlog, if I want to get fancy], and upload it for the WORLD to see on Youtube! Ahh!
Thank you, Haley for the heart to heart today. It was exactly what I needed!
Have a great weekend, guys!
P.S. Don’t count how many times I say “um” in that video. I was NERVOUS! I’ll get better, I promise!
