Mayers Family | Brainerd, MN | Family and Child Photography

Last year, we photographed the Mayer’s family session inside their home and in their backyard. This year, Beth mentioned wanting to have the session at Crow Wing State Park, which is just a short walk from their front door. Never having been to Crow Wing State Park before, I happily agreed!

Then, a few days before their session, we got our first substantial snow of the season! And then, on the day of their session, the fluffy snowflakes swirled and whirled to the ground.

What better weather for an outdoor wintry session!! Combine the winter wonderland with the fun Mayers family, and it was the perfect winter session. Snow suits, hats and mittens, sleds, and snowflakes. A dog to pull the sled.
