Sometimes, it feels like life moves so quick and it’s hard to stop and take a minute to look around. Remember what Ferris Bueller said? “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
That’s especially true when I’m just at the beginning of wedding season, I’m filling my schedule with portrait sessions, and I have a stockpile of photos to edit and clients waiting for their images. I love the hustle and bustle of the summer [ESPECIALLY after the winter], but it is sometimes so busy, I forget to take a breather and look around.
A few days ago, I looked out the patio door before I started making my breakfast, and I noticed the leftover water droplets from the morning drenching from the sprinklers. It was too pretty to glance over, so I stopped and looked. I grabbed my macro lens, my crop sensor camera and squatted down to take in the droplets in an up close and personal way.
Sometimes, such simple things are so unbelievably beautiful.

Sometimes I think we all need a reminder of that.
Love the pics, and I love how you can see the reflection in some of the drops.
