With the amazing weather we’ve had lately, I have taken time to just stop and look around. Breathe in the early summer-tinted air. Let the sun warm my skin. I’ve taken time to listen to the birds, feel the grass and sand beneath my feet, and to hear the bugs buzzing around my head. My favorite season is quickly approaching, and I couldn’t be more excited.
This is going to be my motto this summer. Just replace ‘sea’ with ‘lake water’ and you’ve got it.
Here’s to the late spring/summer of 2012. I think it’s going to be a good one!
