Lindsy and Chase went to high school together.
They didn’t begin dating though until they reconnected years after graduation.
Chase is an avid outdoorsman and it didn’t take long for Lindsy to join him on his fishing trips. There’s even a photo on Facebook of Lindsy in full waders, fishing in the early spring water.
As Chase’s brother and best man shared in his toast, he knew Lindsy was the perfect girl for Chase when she began going on those fishing trips.
Lindsy and Chase planned an outdoor ceremony on the patio at Craguns Legacy in Brainerd, with an indoor reception in the Pavillion.
The weather forecast on the day of their wedding was horrible. Heavy rain and thunderstorms, all day long. I arrived to the Legacy, figuring everything would be moved inside and we’d have to get creative for portraits. I packed my biggest umbrellas.
God blessed Lindsy and Chase though; we were granted the perfect gap in the rain/storms – just long enough to take photos and for them to have the outdoor ceremony they had dreamed of.
And then, as the party moved inside the Pavillion, the rain started to come down again.
I couldn’t have planned it better myself.
Lindsy and Chase celebrated with family and friends in a absolutely gorgeous reception hall, and danced the night away to the sounds of Tami Lu rockin’ the house. It was the perfect wedding day.
