Lake Country Journal Article – Laura Radniecki Images – Brainerd, MN Commercial Photography

Last year, through a set of serendipitous circumstances, I was able to photograph my friend Quinn Nystrom and her brother for a story in the Lake Country Journal. Quinn and her younger brother Will both have diabetes and the LCJ did a story about them and how they are living their lives despite their chronic illness.

This year I was once again given the chance to work with LCJ. I photographed one of the stories in the March/April issue.

The article is about some of the fitness opportunities in the lakes area. The featured events are the Lakes Area Multi-Sport and Running Group, Tae Kwon Do, Indoor Cycling and my favorite… Zumba!

It was while photographing for this article that I first went and saw what a Zumba class was all about, and I’ve been hooked since. I blame Colleen. 🙂

It is a huge thrill to see my work in a publication of any form, and the Lake Country Journal is so well done and insanely gorgeous that it is extra amazing. I truly feel blessed.
