It all started at a mutual friend’s birthday part. She noticed his smile – “kinda crooked but very cute” and he noticed that she wasn’t shy and “loved to gab.” What started as a mutual attraction turned into a full-blown romance that led to a picture-perfect proposal beneath fireworks on the 4th of July. After a long engagement, Kate and Mark promised each other forever in front of their family and friends on May 19th in Hastings, Minnesota.
In a gorgeous wedding dress, surrounded by dozens of personal touches that made her wedding dreams come true, Kate walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, toward the man of her dreams. Mark stood at the alter, smiling his crooked smile back at her, knowing he was the luckiest guy in the room.
After a wedding that brought out tears in the driest of eyes, everyone went on to the reception for a night of laughter, dancing and great food. When it was all over, the gifts opened, and the guests had gone home, Mark and Kate caught a plane to Jamaica where they spent a glorious week relaxing in post-wedding bliss.
