Winter in Minnesota is thoroughly unpredictable. When I first met Clay and Julie at a local coffee shop to discuss their wedding photography, the temps were somewhere around 15-20 degrees below zero. Yep – bitterly cold.
Today, a week and a half after our first meeting, the temperature was a balmy 30 degrees outside. This allowed us to have an outdoor shoot, in the middle of winter, in Minnesota. Despite running back into the house a few times to warm up fingers and unthaw feet, we had a fantastic session in the snow.
Julie and Clay have one of those relationships where they are completely relaxed and comfortable around each other. Their smiles are real, their laughs are genuine. They simply click. This makes my job so much easier.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
