This was my fourth time photographing Eli. I feel so blessed that his parents continue to hire me for his photos; it was so awesome to watch him grow and change from the first session at 7 weeks, to now, just a few weeks shy of his 1st birthday.

Eli is ALL boy. He is independent, inquisitive, and hilarious. He mostly ignored us as we tried to direct his attention to us, and instead focused on the grass, sticks, rocks, wind chimes, you name it. Katie told me he is in a stage where he often has this expression of half grumpy, half evaluative. Like he’s trying to decide if I’m funny or crazy. I thought that expression was great; he even raises one eyebrow when he does it!
Katie, Mitch and Eli: Saying Thank You again doesn’t seem enough. I am so appreciative of your continued loyalty to my photography. I think this session might be our best yet – truly capturing Eli as he is, right at this very moment in his life. Thanks for your creativity with the props and photo ideas.
