Ashley and Devon’s story began over five years ago at Zorbaz in Nisswa. As the story goes, Ashley was the Hammerschlaggen girl that night, and Devon came to the bar wanting to try his hand at winning some money at the game. After he won some money and flirted with the cute Hammerschlaggen girl, he bet Ashley on a game. If he won, they were going to go out on a date. The first game, Devon won [date on]. The second game, Ashely won [date off]. Game three – Devon won. Date on, and the rest is history!
On a perfect August day, Devon and Ashley stuck their toes in the sand and promised each other forever on the beach at Cragun’s Resort, as their family and friends looked on. Their wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and family, as they incorporated their nieces, nephews, and their adorable son Brett in the festivities. After the wedding, the music started and the dance floor beckoned. The evening ended with everyone releasing floating lanterns into the air over the lake. Talk about a grand finale!
